I know this isn't software, but oh well.
A nifty website I found. Says how long your password will take to crack with most likely brute methods!

My own password will apparently take 903 quadrillion years to crack and is 19 characters long.

    1. Ur post didnt include a link (Fixed)
    2. Brute force cracking of passwords is the most basic way to crack, its as simple as stealing the user/pass file and decrypting it and ur super tough pw doesnt mean shit

Unless someone wants to keylog me or has access to my pc/website data you ain't guessing anything. Has letters, numbers, alt chars everything.

You seem mad, I'm just posting something I found interesting. Don't like it? Then who cares.

This reminds me of that hooker name thing or whatever. I wouldn't trust this site with my myspace password.

My password is "ZomGwtFbBqSorse1337HAXpwnage" and that should be perfectly long enough to keep it secure....

    *troll*

Also now every idiot who actually PUT THEIR PASSWORD INTO THAT BRUTE FORCE PASSWORD CRACKING DATABASE GENERATOR just has to wait until their shizz gets hacked - well done Darwin!

PS : They have your IP, security info and browser stats now too... #OBVIOUSPHISHINGISOBVIOUS

Looks like a nice way to compile a password dictionary and analyze the most common ones used...

    Hide Details
    Length: 46 characters
    Character Combinations: 96
    Calculations Per Second: 4 billion

btw ppl is this website accurate at all?
seems strange that a password that isn't in a dictionary nor it means anything can be cracked in 52s

google rates the same password as being a strong password

just to expand, this is my hotmail password, which hasn't been hacked, so that's gotta be saying something, the site is just quoting "theoretical" figures, not a complex hacking routine written by lets say - anonymous for example who probably writes/works on random sequences not sequential hacking routines (which that site seems to suggest, imo), so i still feel my password is pretty safe.

    mtosev says thanks.
