Hi all,

Just trying to find a decent priced av and firewall for my home server.

I can pick up kaspersky small office for the server with 5 client licenses for £40.

I was wondering if anyone had tried and successfully got this working on whs 2011, as I've tried several things that say they work with server 2008 r2 that won't work on whs 2011.

Any help much appreciated.

I searched long and hard for an answer like you and I found 3 solutions. AVG antivirus is supported and runs fairly efficiently, but I generally won't use AVG. $40 USD per year but you can find deals if you look around. ESET NOD32 antivirus also supports WHS2011. $40 USD but you can also find this way cheaper if you look around. I went with Outpost Internet Security Suite Pro, mostly because I have a lifetime license. It is light and pretty effective on a new install clean machine and has a great firewall. If I did not have this license I would have used ESET. My $0.02.
