Already a leader in motherboards and graphic cards, Gigabyte has decided to get their feet wet with water cooling. According to Tom's Hardware Guide, the 3D Galaxy will be selling in July.

The system will move 104 gallons per hour (approximately 473 litres), has a fan that can be toned down to 1200 rpm to keep things nice and quiet, and a low-water level monitor that shuts everything off if your cooling system runs high and dry, or just gets a little too hot under the hood.

To make things even better, Gigabyte will be proposing PC cases to house your new WC system. Read more here about the 3D Aurora cases.

God, this kinda thing makes me and every other watercooling enthusiast want to kill ourselves from embarrassment. That thing will be lucky if it gets within 2c of the XP90 aircooler.

He's saying it sucks. Unless you're just going for quietness, a water cooling system isn't worth paying for if it's not going to be running cooler than air cooling.

If you want to go watercooling, youd better do it right. Ive seen some friends try to put together "budget" watercooling systems. har har har

Quality does matter when your pumping water through your $1000 gaming computer :D

I'm building a $350 loop for a customer right now. You can bet I'll get 10+ degrees cooler under load than the best air out there with that thing.

This gigabyte thing as well as every coolermaster, thermaltake, evercool, and other bad cooling brand can barely hold a candle to top of the line air, so why drop the extra green?
