Lan Box

So! I have been able to get my hand's on a couple different items.

Intel Qx6800
2x 4870's
8Gb's DDR2
700 Watt PSU Modular
Asus Maximus II Gene
Cooler Master V8

Now...What do you guys think for a decent LAN case...that will fit ALL of this..

I have been researching quite a bit on some thing's and I can't seem to find much. Also need something with efficient cooling to keep this thing rock solid..incase of tinkering.

Also most of these part's were free, but what do you guys think of this build?

EDIT: Forgot the Mobo was a Crossfire board, can't use SLI on it...not enough coffee this morning.
I am able to get my hands on a couple 4870's tho.

mini p180 is the only case that can fit a v8.

if u use a slim cooler such as a TT blue orb II or a Scythe Shuriken, you can use the Silverstone Sugo series.

EDIT: oh, also the Silverstone Temjin 08 can fit a v8.

I was looking for more of a box type like the Sugo. I'll swap the V8 For a different cooler no problem there.

keep in mind that the sugo SG 01 limit height for the cooler is 72mm and the best cooler with that height i know is the big shuriken

I do like the Thermaltake Lanbox, the one with the handle. Will that fit two 4870's in crossfire? I can swap out the V8 for a comparable shorter cooler that's not a problem.

Lol thats a pretty cool looking case. Dunno if it's still availble in US. Gonna have to look.

So I decided to go with this Case. Seemed to fit me best from all the other ones i saw. And it's a bit bigger.



Im stuck on 1 item and that comes down to the HSF. I don't think the V8 will fit in this new box either. But there have been report's of the TRUE and a few others fitting. I'll have to find out and wait.

Yea the case i couldn't pass up the deal newegg was having on it right now. I wanted to the black but they don't offer it anymore and it's outrageously expensive!

Alright so I need some suggestion's. Photo's will be up soon. This bad boy's all built and up and running.

What I need is idea's for some cable management...and if anyone has any idea how to run Crossfire on this board. I picked up a Sapphire Vapor-X and it look's as if i try to put a second one in this case, it's either not going to to fit on the board or I have to find a slimmer card.


Also...I've had a couple recommendations on coolers, and I think I'm going to go with the Blue Orb II. Unless there's another option..my V8 just won't make it.

Or if someone can recommend a nice setup for watercooling in this case that would be cool. I'm open for any suggestions..
