    Hi,

I have a Presario Laptop and am having a problem with the TV-out. The problem is that it will only display black and white. I have played with every setting I can find trying to rectify this but alas it has been in vain.

Am connecting from the s-video out through a converter cable to rca into the tv.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    Thanks.

I've had my videocard output a PAL signal to my TV. If TV out worked, then it would display a constantly moving black and white image.

Have you tried using S-Video AND composite from the TV-out?
