Hi,

I'm trying to connect my laptop (HP NX9000 with Radeon IGP 340M graphic card) to my TV: basically it "works" but I always get a black and white image!
I though at first it was just a "cable problem", then I tried the following connexion schemes:
S-video (laptop) to SCART (TV)
S-video (laptop) to RCA (TV)
S-video (laptop) to RCA... and RCA to SCART (TV)
All these connexion schemes yielded a black and white image on the TV screen!

Nevertheless, when I connect my numeric video-recoder to the TV-SCART, I get a colour image! I came to the conclusion that the problem comes from my laptop's graphic card!

I would be very grateful if someone tell me how to solve this problem.

Still doesn't want to work....

Thank you Nobru_rv for your piece of advice.

I tried different TV format (NTSC, NTSC-M and all the PAL-X formats) but all of them yielded a black and white image, with different quality though. Basically, I changed the format from the "display setting panel"... Is it the right way to do? You mentioned in your last message the "BIOS" of my gpu card: shall I edit it and change the BIOS settings? If yes, how to do so?

Regards,
