Rails are going down to 11.12 when I hit 100%.. Only does it to CPU style benches and my Zune software! lol.. I'll be grabbing a new psu next week. Just have to wait, and wait.. lol

WOW I wouldnt expect that from a 1yr old PSU but I guess you are drawing major power with all your WC gear and 280s.

lol. Yeah, I can play games for hours on end, but Now it's taken it's toll on my system.. :roll:

Just gotta wait now for this game to be on steam! I'll trade in my Xbox version..

EDIT ... The 360 controller does work amazing for this game. I think they ported the controls directly from the x360 version.

I used MassEffect.exe doesn't FarCry2.exe scale worse?

It does but its screws up the performance for everyone with it not being able to turn off or on

Here my Bench with FarCry2.exe with MassEffect.exe I get 121fps but more stutters

Clocks at 660/1050 and resolution is 1680x1050

So farcry2.exe works better then? If know renaming the FEAR2 demo to farcry2 made it run SOOOO fast. :rockout:

Well it ran better on benching but the actual game it was the same in battle and in towns, huge stutter.

I dunno if its only me and these CCC 9.2 Drivers though, I don't mind games like these being a fan of the FF series its actually been a while since i played JRPG, last none i played was kingdom hearts 2 on the console

. I'm glad square enix is releasing products on PC now, hopefully they do the same for FinalFantasy 13!

FYI: I've heard that there are two possible problems with the demo and ATI cards. I know, because I figured If I can play FEAR 2 Max w/o AA and Crysis fairly high up on the details, I can handle any UE3 game. Cept this.

1) Turn the shadow resolution down low. Apparently, this helped people on some other forum who had ATI cards.
2) ATI probably needs to make a special driver for this game because they always do. AMD/ATI cant throw money at people like Nvidia can.

I havent tested this stuff yet, will do later tonight if I have time.

No benchmarks yet, wanted to see does it work. 1280x1024 high settings, lights on, everything off. Getting 9-16fps at most. Could get more if i turn off some of the extra effects i have on. Will do some more testing later

Many years later

Whats up guys , many years later ,having played TLR over several times

I saw this post and thought hey so many years ago mean pc's where getting 100 - 130 fps ,
I ran the bench for fun with a mild OC , and i can report that the bench has massively lower fps than the actual game . I ran the bench @ 1920x1080p with the following setup and mild OC to the components .

Amd phenom 1090t @ 4ghz ( corsair h100 )
sapphire OC 7970 3Gb @ 1.2Ghz / 1.8ghz (mem) ( stock cooling )
corsair GTX 4 dominator ram @ 1600 cl 5 -7 -7 - 21 -27 T1 ( stock cooling )

And i ran it several times and took the most average bench being 173 Fps :pimp:

Now in game i get an average of like 280 FPS + max settings @ same res ,

i know this is a old post just thought i might add my 2 cents
