    Hello all,

The title gives my question away. Why don't we have a learning section? I can't see any harm in trying it out for a few months.

Perhaps have sub-forums on some of the subjects like ''Networking''. Okay, fair enough - you can't really teach alot about graphics card or RAM but there's still things you could be taught about it.

Just a suggestion. I've started college doing an ICT Course and once I get home, I feel as If I want to learn a bit more. Get a good education and therefore (Hopefully) get a good Job ?

For example - I'm trying to learn visual basic's. I can find tutorials on google but i think TPU should create there own type of tutorials.

If you have a question, post it in the relevant forum.

If you have some really good info that is "news"... inform a newsposter and they will start a thread.

If you have some really good info that you think is knowledge useful to others... put it in the wiki http://reference.techpowerup.com/Main_Page

If you have a "tip", post it in the relevant forum.

I have posted it in the correct section ? Comments & Feedback ?!
    Which description displays:
Constructive criticism, feature requests and other techPowerUp! related discussion.

Why's it meant to be in a post called ''What's wrong with our forums?''

    Honestly, I'm truly confused ?

You posted in the right place. Relax :toast:

My previous comment was for the content e.g. Networking, not that your question regarding a "Learning Section" was in the wrong forum!

The problem with having a "Learning Section" is that it just duplicates what is already categorised. Just consider TPU forum as TPU-Learning-forum with a lot of "chat and rubbish mixed in".

As far as I'm concerned and I mean no offense by this, the whole forum is a learning section. What users need to do is learn to use the search function wisely, and along side that if not able to find the answers to the questions they seek, learn a better method to starting a thread for seeking help.

We have quite a few guides and articles that are quite helpful, aside from that some of the most responsive and nicest members in the TPU community that are always willing to help. Like I stated once already, the whole forum is a learning section, I vist TPU help when I can and learn when I can't. Probably one of the best places on the web I've found for such.

If someone wishes to contribute to the wiki with an article or two, that would be sweet. Let's all feed the wiki, which is a plant-wilt right now.
