Hello all, I am looking to purchase a mobo to replace my craptastic MSI. I have always wanted an ASUS board, so that I can also overclock my chip. SLI would be nice, but not a deal breaker either.

Also looking for some good RAM to go along with the board, again for overclocking.

My budget for both is $150

I can pay with PayPal..and can buy this week.

    Thank You.

the two asus boards i have work well, unsure what they'd cost in your area. They're older, so the should be cheaper.

    How about:

MB - EVGA 132-CK-NF78-RX LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI ATX

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188037

    Ram - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231144

That comes to 170 which is a little over budget or you could get the older version 680i sli board for only $90.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188038

That would make $125 with the ram.

Or you could go with the Asus P5Q pro and that ram for $150.

    Check my FS thread

    http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=77120

And word of wise, dont use a Dual slot cooler with the motherboard, it has 4 SATA ports so if you put a dual slot cooler GFX it blocks all the sata port, any single slot works just fine.
