Anyone else think its funny that 3991vhtes started this thread and 'My_Name' (new member) is finishing it? I didn't think you were allowed to make 2 names...

This probably should be verified via IP address and other things.

Fact is, this is not a rule unique to TPU. I know of NOWHERE that lets you do this. There is reasoning behind it, and there is no law guaranteeing free speech on TPU.

So too bad.

Questioning authority to keep things under control is one thing. Questioning authority to "have your way" is what authority is for

The fact that he's been gone since his first post, and you showed up shortly their after makes me wonder. Not too many 0 post members would come in and argue someone elses fight, especially against mods. Not too many people here have the balls to argue with a mod. I would expect a 14yr old to make up a new name so they could fight 'anonymously' (sorry if that offends the 'real' 3991vhtes)

Please don't post in all caps, it does not make your post any more important, legible, or stand out any more than being annoying.

We try to crack down on links and rule violations as much as possible, but most "mods" try to interact with the people around here, instead of browsing "out to get" someone for a rule violation.

Mods are only "privledged" members given the ability to help keep this place clean and under control. There is no pay involved with moderating this forum. If you have a problem with a certain link, simply notify a moderator, supermoderator, or admin and it will be dealt with promptly.

Mediocre is dead on with why you are "suspicious", and I'm sure will be verified to clear things up soon enough.

I can't image My_Name is an adult (who owns 10 servers lol). Sorry if this offends you or start some kinda war, but your POV and arguements are reminicent of a teenager. I don't classify this as a fight. but as I am into fairness and I don't believe that any board should show favortism to any one person whether your a mod or an admin or super mod, I read his post and others that stated something on it, and I decided to post my feelings on the subject. I didn't really argue with any moderator, I actually thanked one and the other we just have different opinions is all. But I really do want the mods or admins to clear me and would appreciate a post here that does clear me. But if that doesn't happen-well so be it. At least I know the truth!

The only issue here is if my_name has multiple accounts, but thats up to the mods to investigate at their discretion .

As to favoritism, as I said, if you notice something we've missed, please notify a mod and it will be dealt with.

Goes to show how much u know! I am far from being a teenager! now since when does a username signify your age? you think because i stated something about being fair makes me a teenager? The normal mods say nay, but I said yay, so that means YAY (it's common knowledge among mods that if a super moderator is pulled into an argument, his say is final in that matter, unless an admin wants to get involved)!

Well as I said-no more on this subject-maybe I didn't approach this all in a mature fashion-but it come across differently-I should of waited till I had more sleep then things might have been put differently-I am in the US and in the Eastern time zone and it was early in the am when i posted. But no big deal a super mod has cleared me so I will close on that-I am just commenting back on what you said. And I was more angered at people thinking i was someone else, sounds like I entered at the wrong time is all.

now you see that could be true or untrue i have dozens of ways for you to not see my IP im sure he does as well all you have to do is type "proxy" into google and there you go its an entire lists of ways to bypass your IPchecker not to mention all you have to do is walk to McD and you get free WiFi laptop+pub WiFi=NEW IP

I'm confused now too Zek. If your move 3991vhtes link in his sig, why not all advertising links? I think picking and choosing really IS unfair. Either it's all or nothing. So either let 3991vhtes have his link back or remove all advertisements for other forums and products. Oh and it's my fault for starting this little battle by confusing the hell out of everyone including myself. I think I need an infraction or a stern warning from someone for making up rules.
