How can you check if a game utilizes Crossfire?
    1. Open up two GPU-Z instances
    2. Go to the "sensors" tab
    3. make sure that you have the correct GPU's selected
    4. Check the "Continue Refreshing.." button
    5. Load up your game
    6. Set the settings to the highest as you can
    7. Play the game for a good 15-20 minutes
    8. Alt-tab or quit the game
    9. Check GPU-Z and see if BOTH GPU's got load
    10. Even if each core is only 50%-70% loaded, it's still using Crossfire

    some titles I can confirm:

    *FEAR

    *Black & White 2

    *Doom3

    *QUAKE 4

*Splinter Cell (although it made in-game cutscenes inoperable)

IIRC, Thief: Deadly Shadows did work, but it's been a couple of years since I had that installed . . .

Cryostasis is . . . undetermined. I've heard that it doesn't work - but I can confirm it was working for me in Vista with the playable demo.

The crappy performance with crossfire on only affects X2 cards. Just looked it up :) Disabling got me from 15-30 fps to always 60 with no dips with vsync. I hope they get that working soon, I know the unreal 2.5 engine is old but the game is just too damn fun lol

    Mussels says thanks.
