    Hey guys.

I am looking into a new set of speakers that deliver something special compared to my current ones. I have a great sound card and really need to replace the ones I got to make better use of my sound card.

I can only get a 2.1 system as I do not have enough space for a 5.1 setup.

I had a look on komplett.ie and found these to be the most expensive 2.1 I could find:

    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=344961&view=detailed#ProductTabs

It seems great!! But it says its a USB speakers, does that mean I can't connect it up to my sound card?? Or will it have the usual green lead to put into the sound card? " noob alert "

Or could anyone recommend a better set of speakers???
    Thanks!

Yea I was checking them out too! But would they sound better than Logitech Z-Cinema?? Also they are quite a few years old too! Would that make a difference??

The Logitech Z-Cinema has some nice sounding features and gives the illusion of 5.1. Does the Logitech Z-2300 produce the same??

If you want the best 2.1ch speakers, get the Razer Makos 300W RMS! I think the logitech is only 180W?

If you want loud speakers, get the Razer. If you want better surround sound feel, get the Logitech. :)

no it wont, my Creative S750's are 4-5 years old but they still are one of the best pc surround sound systems and wake everyone up in my area:banghead::banghead::banghead::rockout:

also the razer speakers are VERY good aswell (Above Post) but getting hold of some might be a problem where u are:ohwell:

    Thanks for the helpful information!
I think the Logitech is much more in my price range at 165 Euros on komplett. Can't really find them any cheaper and plus it will be delivered to me within 2 days which is great!

    Thanks for the advice!
