I have a set too, and I think they're great for the price. There's two significant faults though:
- They make some static noise that is noticeable especially if you're not playing any audio. While my PC is idling, the static from the Z506 makes more noise than my whole PC with its fans and HDD.
- Audio quality degrades if you have the volume too low (like less than 10% of the maximum volume). The easy "workaround" that I do is that when I want to play something at such volume levels, I turn down the volume of the Z506 to the threshold where the audio quality is still good, and then lower the volume in Windows.

Overall I've used them for 5 years though and have enjoyed them a lot. I bought them for a bit over 100€ (can't remember the exact price) back in the day and have felt no regret.

That outfit has been known to do some shifty crap with peoples credit cards and pull money out more than once for a product. :twitch:

Wow, sorry you have had a bad experience with them... however, I have been ordering from them since they were BUY.com and have never had a problem.
Even, when I did not receive a purchase onetime they sent a replacement... later, the carrier found the item and delivered it late. I called them and they told me to just keep it and they were sorry for my inconvenience.

I personally have not ordered from them. I seen tons of people stating they had multiple charges on their credit cards.

Heck, I believe there was a thread started here on TPU at one point regarding this issue. Seems like it was shortly after they changed from Buy.com.

I know over on both Hard forums and Anandtech there were threads regarding this issue. I believe there was one on Reddit as well.
