The fact that the FTC is now involved, does not bode well for ASUS.

Between Amazon Europe and Asus in Czechoslovakia he finally got a new one. 5 or 6 motherboards.
I think I see the problem here. It’s tough to get an RMA if you file it from a nonexistent country.

Yeah, this will hopefully get them a kick in the butt. Years ago, I had to RMA a monitor from them, a PG279Q, since it had, frankly, unacceptable levels of uniformity (the entire left half of the panel was 1200K warmer than the right). They unironically didn’t see an issue with that until I pressed and, thankfully through the retailer, got my money back instead of spinning the wheel on the lottery of “what will I get this time”.

I went through 3 PG279Q before giving up all had terrible uniformity and BLB.

I've owned some awesome Asus products and some real turds from them the one constant I've always known is if I have issues might as well throw it in the trash and buy somthing new it would be less painful than dealing with their CS.

Still if their product was the best in a category I was shopping I'd still give them a go it's not like the majority of other tech companies are any different when it comes to CS.

I've dealt with MSI and EVGA and both were outstanding RMA experiences. If we include ram and headsets, both Kingston HyperX and Patriot were excellent experiences too. In fact, Asus is the only vendor that has been terrible to deal with.
