    well the 4850X2 is not much less than a 4870X2 they deffinately need to be cheaper

    Way overpriced. I would just wait for it to drop, that or get 2 4850's and be done with it.

    Don't like the sounds of this.
    AMD/ATi bumping up the prices of thier high end cards due to the success of the 48xx series.

    I really hope this doesn't continue unless it's to support the research of a new AMD CPU which will outclass Intel.

    Which I doubt.

    Even the lower priced ATI cards seem to be rising rather than falling in price. Oh poop.

    It's priced directly against the cheaper 280 GTXs now, that's not too bad considering they trade blows.

    Easier to run two of them than 4 video cards......I think the price is right. They should OC to their HD4870 x2 brother!!!!

    Considering it's 2 4850 1GB's on the same pcb, I'd say the price is spot on.
