I have a 2GB 6950, which would probably be powerful enough for you. I game at 1920x1200.

And you can get a 1GB version at a very good price now, which may be the best bang for buck.

When I set the shaders to 6970 level, I can tell the difference. But my card isn't that stable when flashed, and the increase isn't that huge.

I would also add that the 6000s are more power efficient than the 500s, if that's important to you.

he already bought the GTX 570 ;) which compared the 6970 he was looking at was the better deal but a 6950 2gb flashed to a 6970 if lucky aka reference would have been the cheaper route hell id go 6950 2gb reference and flash also if i had known back then when i first bought the gpus... eitherway its a moot point now he has the card were just discussing game performance on various hardware at this point.

i havent messed with my cards much DOM my PSU isnt enough to handle my max load in most heavy games.

6970s overclocked and set to 20% power so they dont clock down means im pulling near 340w each in games that stress them, so full load is just to much but i have had them stable past 1000mhz core.

also seems someone on the forum is selling a

GTX 570 Twin frozr III power edition for $340. could go SLI ;) lol

I'm about to buy a new rig and I prepare myself for Battlefield 3. I believe this will be the only game that I want to play for a looooong time :)

So, people!
Please tell me which card should I go?
Note: I'm not planning to apply any OC since I'm not so talented in these issues. FYI.

Hey DOM good to see, dude first forget cards with 1G of ram games now become take more than that at 1920x1080, for you ask i see two GTX460's or two 6950 2G they are best performance per dollar plus best performance in power usege.
Forget GTX560Ti it's worst one in power usege see the reviews it's look like GTX470 with less memory.
