hey, was wondering if anyone has had experience with film negative scanning and digital enlargement.. I'm currently enlarging prints in the darkroom, which is quite time consuming and results always vary..

I'm looking at enlarging to about 12x16in on fiber based papers, so something around 3600-4800dpi would be nice, oh yeah, i'm also on a tight budget of $250..

I've been looking at a few epson scanners; the v350 and v100.

any help is greatly appreciated!

My ancient Snapscan E50 does negative. But i don't you can get that anymore.

I would recommend the Microtek Artixscan F1. But again, this is awefully too expensive.

The Epson Perfection V500 should be within reach.
