I'm looking for two things for my kids' PC. They have this mobo:

ASUS P5GC-MX/1333 LGA 775 Intel 945GC Micro ATX In...

And I'm looking for a new CPU for it. Prefer a C2D or better, as they have a PD 3.6GHz in it right now. Wanting to spend <$50. PENDING

I'm also looking for a decent video card for it, but it needs to be something that does not require 6/8-pin PSU connections. I'd prefer a green 9800 GT if possible. FOUND

For me, I need the following:

    • 3.5" internal card-reader. It must be black, in perfect condition, and have at least one USB on the front. If it has audio ports, that's cool, too. Maybe like this one? FOUND
    • Linksys wireless router: something that does N, and gigabit ports would be nice if available. Looking for an E1000 or better. FOUND
    • PCI sound card with three 3.5mm jacks on the back for front/rear/center & sub, plus an internal header for front panel connectors. NO SOUNDBLASTER CARDS!!! Looking at an HT|Omega Striker 7.1 or an Asus Xonar D1 (or similar) card. FOUND
    • LG Ally in great shape with a clear (good) ESN.
Heat is perfect under t_ski. May be looking to add a few more things, too. And if anybody wants some unused Vista Business 32-bit DVD's in trade, I can definitely help you out.

Ugh, I was trying to find you a E6850 for $35 somewhere but cant seem to find it. I thought it was on Evga but cant find it for ya.

I gave away a 5.25" USB/SD card reader a while back so hopefully you'll find a cheap offer there.

Also, why have I not seen any 9x00 series cards for sale lately? Tons of 200 series but not many low power options for ya.

edit, theres a 240 for $50 on XS under the VGA FS section.

Theres a e7400 for $50 on Evga right now. Sadly I found the E6400 sold for $45 which I originally mentioned.

Theres also a WRT54G for $25, you cant beat that!

Let me know if you need help contacting the sellers! :toast:

FWIW, I'm close on the CPU purchase. I have a couple nice chips I'm looking at and trying to pin down details from the sellers, so if anyone else has one to offer, please do so soon.
