Well im looking for a new one but not sure what I need to look for

buddy told me IPS is slow for your gaming style fast paced FPS online

was originally was looking at this one ASUS PA248Q Black 24.1" 6ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen ...

but if you got any other suggestions are welcome

if you are ok with the 60HZ max refresh rate, you might try the DELL U2412M, an IPS with almost zero input lag. Not perfect ofc, but it has a very good price/performance ratio imo.
