Looking for a PSU..

So I'm looking to bump up my PSU to something with more wattage, hopefully around at least 700w. I'll have around $75 to spend. (I could MAYBE squeeze out a little bit more)

That's a Rosewill, I have a Rosewill and I have friends with them and they are very good/reliable for us at least. Its newegg's house brand and they seem to work very well for me (Mine is the Rosewill Lightning running an FX 9590 and 3 R9 290X's overclocked for games among other things).

Stay away from the Thermaltake TR series, they aren't even 75% efficient and my friend replaced their Corsair 550w for no reason with a TR-700 and it blew up about two years later, killing their hard drive as well. Make sure whatever you're buying is 80Plus Bronze or higher, and stick with brands such as Seasonic, Corsair, Enermax, Antec, etc. I do own three Rosewill PSUs, a nice Capstone 550w Gold I gave to a friend and two old RG530s that are meh.

Well a friend of mine may or may not give me his GTX660TI 3GB edition card, and I want some headroom in there.

Or I could convince my father to give me his R9 290 because he's running some old Core 2 Duo and I'm sure that'll fry something. In return I'd give him my 530w PSU and my GTX660OC.

You don't need 700W for a GTX 660 Ti - you can run a GTX 780 off a good quality 550W power supply, so you'll still have headroom with a 550W supply and the GTX 660 Ti. And the R9 290 should also be fine with 550W. Try and look for a 550W Seasonic, XFX, or Corsair unit in your budget, and if you can, 80+ Gold too.
