Hi, i've finally got my hard drives installed the way I want:

    2 x Crucial C300 64gb SSD - In RAID 0
    2 x WD 7200rpm Caviar Blue 320gb - In RAID 0

I want to test my read and write speeds, what are the best tests?

For SSD's use ATTO. Do not run a lot of benchmarks on SSD's as it degrades them.

Don`t use those for ssds. Use atto. Everyone around here uses crystal disk mark as well tho` I don`t think ur supposed to.

Does it really degrade them? And this might sound a stupid response but how does it? Thanks for your fast replies!

Gotta get going but at least a quick answer—yes benching does degrade SSDs in the same way that regular use does ... but faster. How much faster can vary widely from SSD to SSD.

Thanks! Won't run tests more than once then lol! That would be just my look finally get it all working and then have to replace the ssds!
