I'm on the phone the with my brother-in-law and we are overclocking his:

    Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
    3400+ skt 939
    4x512mb ddr400

When he did manual memory timings (all timings, there were like 10 or 12 of them), he lost ALL his USB devices (no power for anything plugged into usb)?

    Anyone ever heard of this?

He changed them back to 'auto' and all of a sudden all his USB stuff was working?

Went out of range for the USB. I've had a few boards that have done this. Just have him back down the OC till the USB works again.
