Low GPU Usage with SLI Titan X & G-SYNC

Most settings that are hard hitting in the games that matter actually do make a significant difference. These are usually Gameworks titles too, with their pages on each game that show the difference. I do tune the games that don't give me enough performance but usually it doesn't help much. They just aren't enough to properly push 60fps in 4k.

Okay, well then, let's wait and see what the new generation of GPUs will be providing in performance. I'll most likely upgrade end of 2016 or anytime in 2017 I guess.

I had to make an account so that I could reply to this. I can confirm that this problem is still around. I've got the first gen ROG Swift panel and paired it with 1080 SLI.

GSYNC off, GPU usage on both are pegged at 98%-99% giving me about 135 - 140 FPS average on Witcher 3 with all the settings completely maxed out.

GSYNC on, GPU usage is around 85 - 90% and I end up losing around 15-25 FPS depending on the location of the game.

I really hope that this would be fixed in a future update of the drivers. Maybe around the time when Windows 10 creators update gets released.
