Second, you don't tell Asus you were oc'ing silly. You just fill out their form for RMA. When they ask you to describe the problem, tell them it won't boot. Period.

BTW, where did you get a speaker for the m/b? I haven't seen one come with an m/b for a long time. Maybe it's built in now. IDK. I don't pay attention anymore. Well, that, and with WCG, I never shut my rigs off anyway. I just have a timer that reboots them every few days. I know the last time I tried to debug something I had to dig an old speaker out.

Tehehehe I'm just too honest for my own good C: I'm filling it out now, or should I wait till monday and use the live chat? From my experience most companies rarely answer their support emails... I got the speaker with my HAF 912

I also have a ton of old computers in my house that I steal random parts from when needed.

Thanks. I felt embarrassed to ask since I'm on these things 24/7 and I never notice the noises - just filter them out. Sorta makes me wonder about the advantages of a quiet rig, but when you have tinitus, I guess you learn to ignore stray sounds.

Anyway, I haven't filled out many RMA's so I can't advise you. I'd do it now so you're just part of the backlog on Monday and they rush through your form. Then again, if that's when people tend to oc and they get a lot of RMAs on Monday, you might be better off waiting. It's hard to say.

As to what Stinger said, my experience is that the m/b is the weakest link, but then for crunchers I normally get shit m/bs, so IDK. From what I've read, modern cpu's are pretty hard to fry, not so much on the m/bs. Don't know about RAM. Don't oc that.

Hmm, I'm thinking I should send in the RMA and If I don't hear from them by tuesday I'll go on their live chat because I know the RAM and PSU are okay, but im not 100% about the CPU, but if it was the CPU i would atleast get some beep codes from the mobo

I think you are only able to use it a certain amount of times a day or something. Once you go past that limit the button disappears. .
