MadCatz Xbox 360 Gamepad

This has worked fine for most games, it is recognized as a regular Xbox 360 controller. But in Assassins Creed it is recognized as a MadCatz GamePad and the controls are ridiculous. Pressing down on the right joystick access the start menu, and in general the controls are terrible and not like the 360 controls at all. A friend of mine has a regular 360 controller and plays this game on his computer just fine. Does anyone know how I can get Assassins Creed to recognize this as a 360 controller or to at least get the controls set up right without manually setting each button.

Have you tried going to M$ and downloading the 360 controller drivers?

Yes I have, it does not fix the problem.

Then I guess your gonna have to set them up individually.

After trying to set the controls up manually, the triggers on the controller are not supported... There has to be a way to get this working right.

I had to setup my Logitech 360 controller manually for MLB2k9 and the triggers were my biggest problem. Just have patience my friend and you'll get through it.

Using a program called Xpadder, the game now works. I just set Xpadder to use what ever the controls on the key board would be.
