Hi TPU.

I'm looking to get a few more gigs of RAM in my system, but as I can no longer get the ones I have anymore, I need something else that will work with it.

These are my RAM:
http://www.memoryc.com/computermemo...xseriesforsandybridge68624dualchannelkit.html

And these are the RAM I'm looking to buy atm:
http://www.multicom.no/Ripjaws-X-8G...L9-9-9-9-24-2N-1e5V-GeSKILL/cat-p/c/p10600611

Will they work together? I realize they dont have the same timings, but will the motherboard not automatically adjust it to work?

Thanks for any help.

Keep looking around. Mix and match modules can turn into some bad juju.

Thing is, looking around here is quite limited. I've already looked everywhere there is to look. I dont think they are made anymore.

Best I can say as some friendly advice is get the 8GB kit and run them solely. Question for you though; What's your personal day to day use like?

Any virtual machines? If yes, go the 8GB. Try current sticks with them and run a memtest. If that comes back ok then cool. EVen then if it doesn't work out too well, you can still run the 2x4GB sticks just fine alone without the current extra 2x2GB.

I use virtual machines for programming, as I need to see how programs/games work on different platforms.
I'll try getting them, and see how the memtest works out. Thank you :)
