I LOVE having MC "near by" within 50 miles. For CPU/MoBo, Cases , RAM ,and sometimes open box GPU's. Never mind the $50 off when You purchase an i5/i7 WITH a compatible motherboard. NOT a fan of their PSU prices though, but that can be fixed online fairly easily. If I could change ONE thing about Micro Center it would be to Remove the Comission from the employee's wage. They are Sometimes a BIT too Eager to sell, and tend to "hover", and "stalk" a little too much for My liking. But I can put up with a LOT for those Prices.

2400 of course.... lol.... especially if going haswell... haswell benefit alot from high freq ram... as far as ive read...

I read that Haswell doesn't benefit much over 1866 for your cost. Can't really find the article though. This is of course unless you're running the IGP or overclocking/benching.

Bring your receipt and ask them for the discount.... a lot easier than buying the sale cpu and returning the sale one, which will be sealed, with the old receipt to get the money back.

You can't do that, because they scan the serial # when you purchase. I can try to get a price adjustment, but I still think they're selling them at the price I paid. That and I'm out of town until Monday.
