Microsoft and Intel have announced their support for the next-gen DVD HD DVD. The 2 competing medias are HD DVD and Blu Ray. Earlier this year they tried to make one single format but were unable to produce a format. Most companies support HD DVD because it won't make companies remodeled their factories that much.
