So i was after a new budget card for £30..looking around the stores, i wasnt going to get anything for my money so next best thing was .... ebay!
came across a new xpertvision 7600gs sonic gddr3, doing my research found out that palit own xpertvision and also gainward, looking at the gainward 7600gs golden sample it looked very similar to what i was going to bid on, and also found out that palit volt mod the ram themselves..so i bid on the card, got little competition, won it for £22!

card came today, ATItool = 450 gpu and 500 mem. idles around 45, loads 51. decided to get my overclocking gloves on, got it to 580 gpu (consider 7600gs stock is 400) and 800 mem! (decided to stop there as i was pretty happy, but i think it can go more) idles still 45 and load is now 60 (which is ok?) 3d mark 06 score 3752 rivalling overclocked 7600gt's .. oh im so happy :D

just thought id share this with others on a budget after a decent video card, it can be done!

Great bargain, the gs's seem to OC very well from what I hear. That's faster than my old 7600GT.
