looks more like the Thermaltake MEKA G1 to me :ohwell:

MEKA G1

As some1 stated before, the 7G's wrist rest surrounds the keyboard itself and the MEKA G1's wrist rest clips on.

Omg you are actually right! If you shop the branding and the lighting, I doubt people will notice the difference.

I hope they offer a model with MX Browns or Clears. So far, Deck is still the only backlit mechanical boards that do, and they are just too expensive for me to justify purchasing.

Well, at least they didn't drop the ball like Razer, and make them clicky keys. If these are reasonably priced like the Razer BW's, I might just settle for a board with linear switches.

I like the clicky keys on the Razer BW Ultimate. I'm fairly heavy handed and the click reminds me that it's pressed and no further pressure is required lol. Like mice i kill them within a year typically

Don't need a click if it is tactile. You feel the bump, no need to hear it.

Personally I find the clicky sound to be an advantage not for practical reasons but because I like it.

Dont worry about keyboard being silent. That wont happen.

Keys itself are silent, when you press them, but since you need to apply quite a bit of pressure (MX Black are toughest switches), it will make helluva sound if you are typing bit faster or playing something like WoW, or anything that need bit more than WASD.

Sounds bit like older typing machine. :D So dont worry about silence.. not going to happen. :D

but that's you, i like it were ever and what ever game even more so in FPS as i can find my self pressing a button much harder with no clicking sound as the click happens before the button hits the bottom of the switch which means no more pressure is required although more can be applied but it no needed..

And for a heavy handed person to feel the bump more damage is done to the key as it's forced as far as it can go were as with this keyboard i am feather touching it and the keys are not even fully pressed.

In the end people like things different things different ways or it be a even more boring world.

No, you don't seem to know how a tactile switch like the MX Brown or MX Clear works. The bump of a tactile switch happens about the same time as a clicky switch would make it's noise, not at the bottom of it's travel. It replaces the sound of the click with the feel of a click. If you just prefer clicky, that's fine, but a tactile switch doesn't require an audible click to let you know when it's activated.

might be a competitor to razers black widow ultimate.

Kidding me right?

That uses blue cherrys And is half plastic.. So not very rugged and the mechanics arent very good for gaming... And it has a 2 key rollover which is shite!

Much better ones out there! There's no might, it will kill the razor rubbish
