Mobo for a 2500k?

I'm grabbing a 2500k for a new build and since I'm not really an Intel guy, I'm not sure which motherboard to grab. I'm hoping to spend less than $100 on it. any suggestions?

Regarding that open box ASrock: "Newegg will NOT send you any missing accessories, even if it is required to use all of the item's functions." Do the open box motherboards come with drivers? I've never ordered an open box item from newegg before and it scares me a bit.

You can download the drivers from ASRock. But a boxed new extreme 3 is 120 and a good mobo.

Right now, I'm leaning on the open boxed just due to the pricing difference. I'm still working out the kinks of the build. So far, I have a 2500k and the ASRock Extreme 3 picked out.

The other option for the mobo, although at a higher price could be the ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3

Does the same job as the AsRock, just with more bells and whistles.

Yeah, I saw that board. It really depends on how the rest of my build goes and then I'll see how much is left in the build budget.

I've never ordered an open box item from newegg before and it scares me a bit.

The only thing I've ha to deal with on open box was a missing manual one time out of the 4 open box boards ive ordered. If you need a drivers disc just send me a pm, I'll make you one no questions asked.

Also something to look into; See if someone close to a microcenter will make a run for you.

Now that I've picked out my board, I'm looking at RAM. Out of the 3 I'm looking at, I'm not sure which one is best. They are:

1) 8GB 1600 9 latency 9-9-9-24
2) 8GB 1600 8 latency 8-8-8-24
3) 8GB 1866 9 latency 9-10-9-27

*All 3 are Corsair Vengeance (Black)

My old build had G.Skill. I loved them, but my problem is I have to make my case color-coordinated and I'm not sure which direction I'm taking in terms of color. That's why I picked Vengeance Black for now.

Haha. I have to have the side window. I loved my HAF X. It's not about how it looks for everyone else. Even without the side window, I'd still need it to be color coordinated to a point. I think I'm leaning towards the NZXT Phantom so maybe I can make it look like half a bowl of fruity pebbles.

I also just noticed I have a MicroCenter like 20 miles from the house. The 2500k is only $170 there and it's $219 at Newegg. Score!
