Hey, I'm looking for 550 or more watt psus. I'm using a 480 watt termaltake psu. It's really old (only has a 20 pin connector! I had to convert it) and I'm reaching the max it can do. I don't really mind if it's modular, although a modular one would be better. It must include all cables if modular, and case for cables if any. Please post psus you have with prices. Standard rules, pic with had written tag.

Do you subscribe to the NewEgg deal alerts. I had just picked up a beast of a PSU on one of the weekly deals. The prices are usually up to $20 off their already lo price. I had even got FREE shipping.

FYI ... Be forewarned, the deals are addicting as they pop into your inbox once or twice a week. I've had to delete the ad so I wouldn't spend the money or I would have money for rent. LOL

I've purchased items from Directron several times in the past and their service is comparable to Newegg or Superbiiz. It is a offbrand cheap PSU so you are gonna get what you pay for. Sometimes these offbrand PSU's turn out to be a "diamond in the ruff". I usually purchase these kind of PSU's for testing purposes or for low budget builds. I don't believe a PSU has to have a namebrand attached to it in order to be decent. But that 750watter that was offered up is a good deal so you should think on that too.

hmm, I've been reading about that LSP psu and apparently it's shit... I might buy that corsair psu from you, I currently only use about 380 watts but do you think I could run something like a 5770 with that?

Oh yeah, you could even CFX two 6770/5770 with this PSU. Those Juniper GPUs don't use a ton of power. I ran a 5770 and 6750 in CFX in my 6750 review and even had them OC'd. It was my first GPU review, so it may not be the best...lol.

If you decide you want the PSU, then just shoot me a PM. You can see me heatware in my sig.
