Wow . . . just wow. If this lives up to COD:4 ill be in heaven, I too spend many hours a day on Call of duty. Knife throwing seems like a novelty though.

Lol, I knew it was going to happen. I didn't want to make a new thread when there are already so many MW2 threads.

Knife throwing? When did modern combat turn into a circus? No military per today use knives. It's an extremely hard skill to master, you have to take into account the number of rotations and speed of the knife based on distance and elevation. It would take several years of training before anyone would be able to just run up and hit someone in the head like he did in the video.

Hope the knife stays out of the singleplayer campaign

I think the point is that it adds a fun element to the game, rather than MW2 being a completely true-life simulation.
Anyway, you likely won't have to use it in single player if you don't want to.

Its not that hard to throw a knife and land it with abit of practice. i dont think it would take years of prastice infact id say if you stood there for 1 day throwing your knife from a given distance you would be quite supprised

Awesome it is and the release date is either 10th November or 11th October, depending on whether it's the American date format, or the UK one. It's right at the end of the video. I'd hazard the American format myself.

but on a brighter note i am scaling down to a 22" WS instead so hope the game is as good as they say it will be. hope it looks even better maxed out on SP

Game looks bad! Ill play on single player as way too many ppl hack in FPS games and makes me so mad when you empty a clip in their head and they turn around and shoot once and kill u. I mean why cheat on MP? Oh wait.......e-peen......rolleyes:
