Guys, it is possible to somewhat modify the monitor.inf file (or perhaps something else?) that the lowest offered resolution to switch Windows 2000 SP4 into is, like in XP, 800x600?

I managed to setup the monitor.inf file I use to offer me highest 1024x768 resolution easily, just using the HKR,,MaxResolution,,"1024,768" - but can I adjust lowest resolution too?

just go into display properties (right click desktop and select properties, all the way right on top tab select settings, then advanced on bottom right, then 3rd tab over for monitor, and lastely uncheck hide modes that this monitor cannot display. ALLEN

Hmmm, and what is the purpose of your guide? That give me a hell of resolutions to see, and my aim is to REDUCE the number of resolutions to choose.
I actually sucesfully managed to hide resolutions past 1024x768, not I just wondering how to hide the ones bellow 800x600 ;)

Internet once again worked as great machine for misunderstanding, or my english is that bad?

Well, I just wanted them to go away :)
For not obscuring the selection anyone, perhaps? Fun fun too?
