At 1680X1050 it won't. Frankly a 5970 is wasted at such low resolutions.

Tried Cryostasis or Metro 2033 @ max resolution and max AA?

I actually found my Cryostasis discs and renistalled it. Even only using one GPU at maxed settings, 1920X1200, it ran smoothly. Alloptions set to high, 16AF and AA on. Menu didn't provide any details. I'll see if I can get both GPUs running and Fraps a bit of it.

Metro needs to drop in price before I'll buy it. I don't pay 60 bucks for any game.

At what resolution? A ~3.6Ghz OC should eliminate most bottlenecks, even at 2560*1600.

  6. Would I see a bottleneck at 1024x768, while playing Crysis/Warhead on very high/enthusiast with 0x AA and motion blur disabled, using an i7 930 at stock speeds, and an HD 5870 or 5970?

How many frames should I get at those settings?

Prolly about 80fps on a 5970 at those settings.
