UPDATE: 02/14/2010 00:42 USA Central Time:

    almost everything is shipped...

started selling drives again today... sold several and will not be selling drives again for a week or so...

anyone that is working deals with me on bulk purchases still gets there orders so the above does not apply to them

orders have been taking around 5 to 10 business days to ship... so I am officially increasing my time allowed for shipping to 14 days, I doubt that it will actually take 14 days I just do not want to promise something and be wrong... I would rather promise something and deliver something better...

UPDATE: 02/05/2010 22:30 USA Central Time:

the snow made it impossible for me to get to the post office today... I will be trying to get TIGR's drives out in the morning... the rest of you I would guess monday or tuesday...

either way its up to the weather

UPDATE 02/04/2010 19:09 USA Central Time:

almost caught up on shipping, several items went out today... please check your PM's for tracking numbers

UPDATE 02/01/2010 12:32 USA Central Time:

Due to the high response I am not accepting any more payments for new drives until I get my shipping 100% caught up... I will update the thread in a few days to let TPU members know that I am ready for payments again...

Again there are still many more drives for sale, I am swamped with drives/items to ship ATM

Thank you to everyone that purchased drives...

if there are any questions feel free to contect me via PM (try to keep contact via the thread at a minimum as this tends to make things clogged and cluttered)

I have also updated what drives are available

I have had a lot of questions like, "Has my item been shipped yet?" please see the paragraph below marked 'shipping and other important information'

    -------------------------------------------

UPDATE 01/29/2010 18:34 USA Central Time:

My buddy has offered to handle all paypal transactions for me while I wait for paypal to fix this mess...

I have refunded nearly every1... if I did not refund you it was a transaction under $65 and I will be mailing it soon

If I did refund your payment and you still want the drives please contact me for new paypal information...

    Sorry for the trouble people

    Thanks for bearing with me...

UPDATE 01/29/2010 16:06 USA Central Time:

PayPal is really giving me trouble... I have got them to refund almost everything... I will ship the other items monday or tuesday...

They say the account will still take around 5 to 10 days to get it unlimited...

UPDATE 01/28/2009 18:11 USA Central Time:

Still waiting on Paypal... we have faxed them all the proper documents and have remained in contact with them... it looks like monday or tuesday at the latest... please do not file a dispute with paypal in the meantime as this will hold the account in a limited status, this would make everything take longer for everyone...

turns out that the issue was my wife's old paypal account that she thought she had closed... basically Paypal had her Social Security Number on file, but registered to her maiden name...

    ----------------------------------

ok I got more hard drives in... ready to sell again... paypal is up and running

    Trades?
I need a nice quad core socket 1156

    DDR 2 ram

    DDR 3 ram

    here is how it works

all drives are tested and confirmed working before they are shipped

let me know if you need a matching set/pair of drives for raid usage

1TB Western Digital Green drive (could be 8, 16, or 32mb buffer) $45

    1TB Seagate 5900rpm 32mb buffer $50

    1.5TB Seagate 5900rpm 32mb buffer $60

1.5TB Seagate 7200.11 32mb buffer $70 (no more tested at this time)

2tb western digital green drive 32mb buffer $100 (limited supply) (All the 2tb drives are sold or spoken for at the moment, if you have a deal with me on 2tb drives you are good to go!)

    shipping and other important information

these drives are usually under warranty (if there is an issue contact me for replacement), you will be required to ship the old drive back to me for testing before I will warranty it... I am covering these myself on a case by case basis

it could take me a few days to ship (could be up to 14 business days, but usually around 3 business days from date of purchase )

I generally do not ship items on saturday/sunday... this is family time

any payment made after 4:00pm (central) counts as a payment made on the next day... this is because I will not have time to get to the Post Office, as a result it can not count as a day toward shipping

larger orders could tend to take a little longer to fill

with the above info in mind if you paid on Friday at 5:12PM (central) then the earliest I would ship would be Monday at 9:00AM (central)

I ship them via USPS flat rate, $6 for 1 drive, $12 for 2 drives, $16 for up to 10 drives

    International Shipping:

In order to protect myself international orders (with the exception of Canada) will pay with Pay Pal gift to save me fees and due to the fact that I am not responsible for what happens when a a package leave my hands...

for all I know it could crash to the bottom of the ocean

You pay actual shipping and duty tax

(I am willing to ship to Canada for the same price as above, but you must still pay duty tax)

Once an International item leaves my hands I am no longer responsible for the item

in short if you purchase international you agree not to hold me responsible in anyway shape or form

I am willing to mark the item as damaged good and as a gift if you want me to

but again understand that I can not control what happens

Are these still under warranty and do you give guarantee that it's not DOA? Do you have heatware? If yes to both of these question, I am in for 1 WD 2TB HD.

I'm interested in a seagate 5900rpm 1.5tb, have you shipped to the uk before? and if so how much total extra would it cost? i'm assuming it would still be an awesome deal though.

price still sounds good, just worried there is a high chance of an hdd being damaged when shipped internationally, tho i understand ofcourse you wouldn't be responsible
