More volume from thin air

    OK so i need more volume..basicly my computer aint loud enough for me...i am using earbuds so its already pretty loud but i dont have $150 to buy the 280 watt 5.1 surround system i want...so until then i need to find a way to suck out more volume for less....anyone got any idea's....or know of a program

    :D lol if i was desperate enough id wire up my 2 klipsch la scala 600 watt 125 DB speakers...15" subwoofers...but id prefer to just use software to multiply my volume

    Just use (or buy) and old hi-fi... attach the soundcard output to an amplifier input, e.g. to the AUX or TAPE input of the hi-fi... and TURN HER UP.
