Most pos motherboard ever ?

Long story short. I asked my brother to buy me this for $25 since the dude who sold it said had a bad chipset fan. So like any of us I said that's an easy fix and he got it for me. So had it for a few weeks in a box till i got some parts together that work on other system similar. The seller lied basically it's a dead board. So tried all the tricks one can imagine.New battery, all kinds of ram etc...Press on the chipset fan and it power up fans and things get hot fast but no post.
So after lots of reading I find out this is one of the most problematic nforce4 boards ever... I also burned my finger on the cpu like I got branded. I just wanted to vent my roid rage.

Wow, I commend you for even attempting to fix an nforce bord. Most I have tried have been problematic and moody even when not broken. :laugh:

Maybe he burned the chipset out... if fan was not cooling it.

Try selling it as dead for parts... or, frame it and give it to your brother for his b-day or Xmas.
