Looking at the different options of Z77 motherboards. I was initally thinking of the ASUS P8Z77-V LE. But i saw that higher versions of more phases which makes for cleaner voltage going to the cpu.

Now im looking at an H100 Corsair cooler. Am I more likely to be limited by heat? or the voltage in this case?

If using IVB CPU, heat will be the limit, even with that cooler. The number of phases should have little effect unless you buy a cheap cheap board(sub-$100), or buy from the wrong OEM, but even so, it's more likely to be BIOS option limitations that you run into after heat, rather than power delivery.
