Hi TPU-m :)

my GA-P43-ES3G has problem with sound

before few month i have bought this motherboard to try mod lga771 to 775 but after installing windows 7 I found that motherboard has issues with sound. The rear sound not working completely, and the front side work but with too much noise like radio. I try to installing all sound provided by Gigabyte website but stil not get anything. At this time i can't RMA, time-out.

Do you have an idea how to fix it? what i need ?

I was thinking to get PCI sound card, I found on E-bay around 4$, but i am not sure about it. also, PCI sound card not support front side panel.

Thanks in Adv

Do you have the speakers plugged into the green port on the mobo fully. Sometimes cheap speakers have tons of noise on them

yea...Go PCI.They're so cheap, for the quality they provide. Just as a piece of advice, remember , Your Only going to get what You pay for, So if You CAN afford it, try to buy a decent card...I would recommend AGAINST buying the cheapest one You see. Creative make some decent cards...HT/Omega as well as Asus , To name a few.
