Well its that time again, im tired of my current toys and its time for some new goodies :)

I have been out of the motherboard loop for a while now (about 6 months)

Just curiouse if the 680I's/Striker's are the king OCers still.

I have a couple of the newer Intel CPUs coming so i figured i might as well get a new motherboard to play with them on.

The mainmatchup i think will be an E6850, with motherboard, ram, and SLI. I have everyting else i just need a good OCing motherboard. When the DFI 680i LT came out i had my eye on that but i cant find anything relating to if they fixed the Sata issues the chipset was having, as well as if it is still a solid overclocker, or if there is a better alternative that has come out recently.

I also have a Q6600ES that might have some fun in the board as well, but i think something that overclocks the dual cores better would be a priority since the quad seems happy @ 3Ghz in the Bad Axe 2 :D

    Thanks.

If you like to have an OC Champ go for Gigabyte GA-X38T-DQ6 or GA-X38-DQ6 or even the cheaper GA-X38-DS5 will do the job.
