Ok guys, well I have about $99 to spend on a mouse and keyboard. This is for my friend and he is going to game allot so I really need your help on choosing these. I was looking at this mouse http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153025 and he liked it. As for keyboard anything that is great for gaming will be great. Also I’m going to order everything today. Thanks guys!

For the keyboard, you might want to take a look at this one too http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823109036&Tpk=reclusa
I have both that and the G11 and in my opinion the keys on the g11 are really a bit too plastic like and slightly louder.
The keys on the Reclusa have a bit more rough feel, so you don't slip your after a long game session, something I have experienced with the G11
Unfotunately the Reclusa does not have a mute botton or a way to dim or turn off backlighting
They are the same size +/- 1%
But i must say unless your friend is going to use the backlightning or a lot of macro's (WoW) there isn't any difference between gamer and standard cheap multimedia keyboards, after all media keys are media keys, the only exceptions are the compact keyboards with laptop like low travel keys and the delicious rubber coated MX5000
PS. Razer mice for the win! The MX518 or G5 rev. 2 are the only Logitech mice with the guts to put up a fight (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104076 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104178
Edit: forgot about the Eclipses they are supposed to be great and cheaper too :), haven't tried them though http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175103 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175001
