This is another machine in the house, it's a more of a "low end" (custom build, it's probably best deal ever)

But it's still pretty much great config on win7x64

Got K-Lite Codec Mega pack 6.6.0 (matroska has to be in there, and i know i selected haali and mkv)

The guru3d article that google finds is 3 years old, i did that but it's not working still.

I also have HDTV from samsung it's connected via HDMI and works fine.

The problem is GPU is 0% , and CPU is +25% on mpc exe.

Processor is AMD Athlon II X3 445 and mobo is Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H (onboard video disabled)

Just installed latest Media Player Classic x64.

First thing I'd do is take the K-Lite codec pack, light it on fire, piss it out, flog it for several hours, tar and feather it, then drag it into the street and shoot it several times with a high caliber rifle.

Or you could uninstall it. Whichever is easier. :D

I'm pretty sure the following media players support DXVA OOB:
WMP 12+
VLC
MPC-HC

Furthermore the following codec (packs) also provide additional DXVA fun:
ffdshow tryouts
CoreAVC (for CUDA acceleration)
Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP) (which includes ffdshow-tryouts, Haali splitter and MPC-HC (IIRC)).

This tutorial on how to get DXVA working in MPC-HC is a bit enormous and unwieldy but it's still good:

You could try looking at Mussels' thread about that. I'm very sleepy right now (1:37am) and I have class later and I have to wake up in 5-6 hours so I can't be arsed to find that thread for you.
