I flash my msi radeon 6950 with HD_6950_to_HD_6970_mod and now it do not want to boot. I make atiflash my backup.bin atiflash -p 0 backup.bin -f but it says rom not erased ERROR 0fl01.
Should I trash now my radeon 6950 ? :(

Is it the 2GB version? Does it have a BIOS switch? We need more information.

do you have another card?? if so put your 6950 into the second slot and force flash it to stock bios. you should have asked around and did some research before doing that. I would be surprised if msi did rma it due to the circumstances

dont do that you will definately loose warranty if you screw it up that way. there is no switch because there is only one bios on that card. use atiflash and flash in DOS. make a bootable drive and get atiflash on it then ill get you the command line to force flash

i had the same error message when i flashed my twin frozr 2.
the bios is definitely dead, its not posible to flash it trough atiflash. the bios has to be flashed or even replaced by msi.
dont try to connect or bridge the removed switch on the card.
