I need your opinion on something. I'll be getting the card from the title very soon. I have this configuration

Asus P8Z68 Deluxe
Intel i7 2700K @ 3.5 GHz
Corsair 450W HX Modular
2x4 Blue GSkill RipjawX DDR3 1600 MHz
WD Caviar Black 1 TB
WD Caviar Black 750 GB

Cpu not OCed and I am wondering will this PSU be enough. It has one 12V rail and 33 Amps on it.

as long as it has a 2 6pin's (in most cases since the card wasn't reference 1x6pin and 1x8pin) it should be fine, but I do say with a bit of a weary tone. Maybe to be safe find your self a nice +500w power supply.

The I7 2700K uses twice the power as the G3258 which isn't bad considering it has 6 more threads

Yeah i understand, just saying I really wouldn't worry too much about this power supply especially when its a really nice unit. he can also try disabling his igp that could have save a few watts and run a lil cooler.

Your PSU is fine. I doubt you will ever use over 300 watts with your rig. You have plenty of room to overclock the card too.

Maximum: Furmark Stability Test at 1280x1024, 0xAA. This results in a very high no-game power-consumption that can typically be reached only with stress-testing applications. We report the highest single reading after a short startup period. Initial bursts during startup are not included, as they are too short to be relevant.

Thx guys, really appreciate it. I won't be OC my CPU anytime soon and card, well, it is an oced edition so if it works like that, I'm fine. When that PSU got released, they said it was a monster and could have easily be branded as a 500w PSU cuz it can deliver that constantly. Peak is around 570W but it's not a good idea to run a PSU on peak power no matter how powerfull it is And it's not some cheap unit so I guess it will be okay until I get a better one in few months

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)

Exactly... you can overclock the card and CPU with that PSU...
