Hello,

I just bought two cooler Master: JetFlo 120 case fans.
One of them I connected to my motherboard CPU_FAN2 (4pin) and the other to SYS_FAN1 (4pin). I tried setting their speed in BIOS but the one which I plugged to SYS_FAN1 cannnot be set to lower than 50% speed (which is roughly 1400rpm). For me the sound is too loud and I would like to set it at lower speed when the temperatures are lower.

Can anyone help me on how to change the fan settings?

If they are both on 4 pin PWM connectors, then the BIOS should start them at minimum revs to begin with until the system heats up.

yes & the problem is that minimum is 50% not 0% (or even 20%)

Choose your operating system and download the command center utility, there should be fan control software some where in that package. just poke around a bit and set up some custom fan curves.

Tried using the command center but it doesn't let the SYS_FAN1 go lower than 50%.
The CPU_FAN2 can be easly changed.

Just realized that there are two silent mode adapters, got the SYS_FAN1 to run at 900rpm which is much better!

glad to see you figured it out. one thing you can also try is moving the fan header to the cpu optional header which will give you the same curve on both fans, it might be easier on the ears than the fan adapter
