    Light, Portable, Blazing Fast
The W20 3M's 350 lumen, high color contrast, 11.6-inch wide-angle IPS screen boasts a resolution of 1366x768 pixels for a clear view from nearly any angle. The 10-point multi-touch screen provides smooth, responsive operation. Its brushed metal backplate lends a professional, smart feel to it and, at only 0.99 cm thin and a weight of only 688 grams, you can carry it with you in style.

Up to 5x Enhanced 3D Performance
The W20 3M ships with the AMD dual-core A4-1200 APU processor and Radeon HD 8180M graphics kernel which supports DirectX 11, giving it 3D capabilities up to 5X faster than other products in its class. The nine hours of battery life gives you hours of HD video enjoyment and you don't have to worry about running out of power on those long trips. The W20 3M's high-spec hardware configuration is designed to satisfy the work and entertainment needs of business people. It includes 2 GB of DDR3 memory, 802.11 b/g/n/ Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 720p front-facing camera, microSD card reader, and fingerprint recognition.

    3x Higher Read/write Speeds

The W20 3M boasts wait times 4x shorter than most low- and mid-tier tablets with eMMC memory for smoother, faster operation.

Wi-Fi Connectivity with Twice the Range
The unit connects to Wi-Fi up to 100 m away, far surpassing the 40-50 m of same-class products, for a better mobile experience.

    Designed with you in Mind
The W20 3M integrates many unique features, allowing it to stand out from and above the sea of Android devices flooding the market. It brings you improved technical specs and an improved user experience with its superior operating system in Windows 8, higher-quality screen, faster read/write speeds, enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity, and longer battery life. Nice. A true Win8 (non RT) tablet. I'd have something like this, at least you can use it to run everything you can run on PC. Unlike on Android tablets...

The price is critical, and right now you can get an i3 tablet with HD4000 graphics for about €500. And that will be faster in every way.

Why use 3M as part of the name? I think of plastic clothes hooks and sticky tape. M3 I think of a BMW :/

Nice device nonetheless though but as someone else said, pricing will be critical for MSI's product to succeed.

yeah, so $800 for a core i3 tablet. given that the core i3s are substantially more expensive than low end a4s, this tablet would probably be about $600 or less, or about ~370 pounds.

The news of this tablet is kinda old at this point. I've been waiting for 2 months for MSI to provide a release date...

The price you predicted is correct.

The counter part to the A4-1200 is Intel's ATOM Z2760 which has a TDP of 2W compared to AMD's 3.9W. The performance of Intel's processor is slower, but has less TDP which results in less heat and also better battery performance. Intel ATOM processors have yet to appear in tablets that are greater than 8" as far as I can tell.

Oh and the A4-1200 supports 1080p playback...

you forget though....the z2760 was replaced by the z3770, which is superior in every respect. and they have appeared in 8 inch or greater tablets. the dell venue 8 and 11 pro, and the asus t100. its proving to be quite the competitor.
    it also supports 1080p playback.

Intel's new ATOM processor isn't competing against anything right now. There isn't another current generation processor out there like it that competes with the z3770. (Besides a select few ARM processors) AMD is set to release Mullins in January. Mullins will be a competitor with a reported 2W TDP and 2x the performance of last generation.
