I am hoping someone here could come up with better ideas, than what is offered there.

I have made a bootable USB with a previous BIOS version 1.6 from MSI website.

Question is, is there a way to force a boot from the USB with the BIOS brinked? Actually not sure if it's really brinked per say. After every CMOS clear, as you can see in the first screenshot it does say it has BIOS 1.9. Not sure why it keeps hanging.

It's also not frozen per say. At any time I can press del to get "Entering setup..." in bottom left.

you can try renaming the bios file to AMIBOOT.ROM and copy it to a fat32 formatted usbkey
and putting it in the front usb port,if that doesn't work after a few tries try the rear also it should be a usb 2.0 port
hit the power on button and spam the home-key (you may need a ps2 keyboard for this) screen should go black the usb indicate light should blind
else your options are either RMA or take it someplace and have the bios chip re-programmed using the JSPI1 header next to the bios chip
additionally you can buy a SPI programmer for around 35 bucks (blackcat usb)
