Seems like it is much more extensive testing this time around.

What kind of frame rate did you get with your test?

I need to buy vista now, or will this not work with server 2008 with DX10 installed? I read about someone doing it yesturday.

i ran my single use key the other day, however, during the gaming bench it did not use my 2900's 3d clock mode, so that unfortunatly crapped out the score

the game bench ran the firefly one and it was windowed, therefore did not activate my 3d clocks, which i happened to be monitoring at the time, dunno why it didnt go full screen for that, but then again all the other tests were windowed, but that just dont make sense for the 3d gaming bench part of it

Seems that way. If you look at how it recorded my specs: GPU clock=413MHz (about half) Vram=24MHz (umm...).

I actually made two runs and I think I can determine that for all the encoding and HDD tests that you will receive a higher score by running a strap that has the lower latencies. My score I posted above was running a single 3870, 3GHz core on the 1066 strap, which is good for MCH speeds. My second run, I enabled CF and ran the CPU @ 3.75GHz on the 1333 strap, which you lose some performance until you reach about 500 FSB (which my board cannot do!).
So right there is a tip to help boost your scores in this bench.

Remember, this is PCMark Vantage, not 3DMark Vantage. Different animal. (so I discovered...what a waste of 7 bones!)

Kill 2d clocks with ATi tool :)

When it was showing your frames during 3d test how high and low did they get?

What about the CPU test?

I need Vista.......
