I am currently researching to build a new gaming pc. I have been doing research for a while and am almost ready to buy everything. I have posted on a different forum about this build and they offered great help on ways to improve while saving me money. As a result almost nothing is the same as my original design, which i am fine with and actually like the new system better. Here is the new system that we have come up with. I would love a second oppinion but i think its good how it stands. But i am open to new suggestions.

My budget is basically not much higher than what i have. ( somewhere around $2000)

This computer will be used for basically gaming so the cpu doesnt need to be amazing. Same with the RAM. I will be running at 5760x1080 so thats were the two 4GB 670s come in. If u have any suggestions/problems with this build please let me know. Thanks!

All in all I say nice.

But I'd say throw in a 240+ ssd for OS and programs, even a few games. You can find some nice ones for $160-$180 on sale, even on newegg. if you don't have the budget for it, get the 3570k instead of the 3770k: save $100ish and put it towards the ssd. The 3770k will give you no real benefit in gaming, that is if gaming is the main thing here.

You could go 128gb ssd but since you can find a 240/256 for cheap, why sacrifice the space.

There is next to no performance difference between the 670 and 680. Id rather save the money and get the 4gb 670s instead of the few frames per second ill gain from the 680s. Thanks for the feedback
